Galaxy A57 gets its initial software update; discover the modifications.

Samsung released the first software update for the Galaxy A57 shortly after its launch, providing a January 2026 security patch, despite the odd timing. More recent updates are anticipated following the device’s availability in the global market on April 10.

Samsung has launched the initial update for the Galaxy A57.

The initial update for the Galaxy A57 has been rolled out in several countries such as Australia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and Brazil, despite not being officially released in the latter.

The updated release, featuring the firmware “A576BXXXU1AZC2”, addresses 55 security flaws within internal software and Android components, minimizing the chances of unauthorized access, spyware, and data breaches that could endanger personal information.

The Galaxy A57 comes out of the box with One UI 8.5, the latest Samsung interface featuring a frosted glass look, floating menus, 3D icons, and other enhancements.

How to make something current

Once the Galaxy A57 is released, the initial reviewers should be notified of the update, or the availability can be manually checked by following these steps:

  1. Access the Settings menu.
  2. Tap on Software Update.
  3. Choose the option for downloading and installing.

If the update is not visible, it is recommended to wait a few more days because Samsung typically rolls out the updates in stages based on region.
