Motorola introduces the Moto G87 with a fresh processor and a 200MP camera.
Motorola has recently unveiled the Moto G87, following the popularity of the Moto G86. This new model features updates to its specifications, such as a new MediaTek chipset and a camera system led by a 200 MP sensor. It also runs on the latest Android 16 with the Hello UX interface.
What does the mobile offer?
The Moto G87 features a 6.78-inch Extreme AMOLED display with rounded corners, a resolution of 1,272 x 2,772 pixels, 120 Hz refresh rate support, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits. It is reinforced with IP68 and IP69 certifications, as well as the MIL-STD-810H standard.
The Dimensity 6400 processor powers the performance. It is made using a 6 nm process, falling behind the Dimensity 7300 manufactured on a 4 nm process. Motorola offers models with either 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB or 512 GB of internal storage.
The main feature of the camera set is the 200 MP main sensor, along with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, an ambient light sensor in the rear system, and a 32 MP front camera for selfies. The device is equipped with a 5,200 mAh battery that supports 30 W charging.
Availability and pricing
The Motorola Moto G87 will be released in Italy starting in mid-May, at selected stores, with a starting price of 399 euros. Based on direct conversion, this is roughly equivalent to R$2,200, excluding taxes and extra charges.
The model will be available in PANTONE Overtrue and PANTONE Blue Atoll colors. There is no official confirmation yet regarding its release in Brazil, but it may potentially be available here as early as May.
