Samsung and Google introduce smart glasses featuring a camera and artificial intelligence developed by Gemini.
Samsung collaborated with Google to introduce cutting-edge products for consumers, unveiling new smart glasses at Google I/O 2026. The accessory, created in conjunction with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker, offers two distinct design options and enables hands-free voice command functionality when connected to a mobile device.
Gemini represented through vocal delivery and artistic techniques.
The glasses have a front camera, speakers, microphones, and an LED that shows recording status. They also support real-time use of Gemini. Through the microphone, users can ask for directions, listen to message overviews, and schedule events.

The interface can translate conversations and recognize texts on boards and menus. In terms of visuals, the two brands had distinct styles – Gentle Monster focused on modern designs and dark lenses, while Warby Parker showcased classic frames.
The initial devices of this generation prioritize voice and audio features, lacking an integrated screen in the lenses. However, it seems that this collaboration between companies is set to progress and introduce further innovations soon.
When will it happen?
The glasses will initially be released in the international market before becoming available elsewhere later this year. Samsung has not disclosed pricing details but has confirmed that the frames are compatible with the Android XR platform.
