Hogwarts Legacy is currently available for free on Epic Games for a limited time.

If you didn’t get the opportunity in December, you now have a second chance thanks to Epic Games. Hogwarts Legacy can be downloaded for free from the Epic Games Store until May 3 to keep in your library forever at no cost.

The special deal is to mark the 25th anniversary of the Harry Potter movies. It’s distinct from the usual weekly Epic offers and includes Hogwarts Legacy as well as additional bonuses.

The game is being offered for free on the Epic Games Store for the second time. The first occasion was during The Game Awards at the end of 2025. Those who missed it then have another opportunity now.

Hogwarts Legacy places players in the shoes of a student at Hogwarts during the 19th century, offering an open-world experience with quests, magical beings, and spells. Launched in 2023, the game achieved significant success, becoming the top-selling title of the year with an 84% approval rating on Metacritic.

To obtain Hogwarts Legacy at no additional cost, simply visit the game page on the Epic Games Store, select “Get,” and sign in to your account. After you’ve added it to your library, the game will remain there permanently. This deal is exclusive to PC users.
